I initially wasn't sure about using edging made of rubber as I doubted the strength and integrity of the materials, but reading previous reviews, which sounded positive, i decided to risk it. As these are made from recycled tyres, the materials are very strong, even the plastic nails, which was a pleasant surprise. They are so tough I had a real effort to saw the planks to size, so I now feel confident they can withstand any type of weather and will last many years. The plastic nails supplied are long and tough too, and I managed to do a really nice job of tidying up a once messy garden with loads of loose stones everywhere into two decorative feature displays that i'm now quite proud of. I was able to manage it all by myself which I couldn't have done with concrete or wooden edging. These are much more manageable for one person compared with using concrete or wood. They are much cheaper too. And they can be moved/adjusted in ways the other types of edging can't. For one person with limited financial means and practical skill, these are perfect!

Needed an edging between driveway and gravel garden, so ground stony - wasnt sure if this would work or not so only ordered 2 pieces to start with. Found it fairly easy to cut with loppers and very easy to fit in trench made between bed and drive - the plastic nails are strong and went in easily enough, as long as stones werent in the way. Really pleased with the result and would recommend, although it's not the cheapest option if you have alot of edging to cover. Good to be able to prevent tyres going straight to landfill though and hopefully will last for years.

Ordered the scalloped edging and when the parcel arrived took off leaving the fitter, a friend, to get on with the job of laying the new edging. When we got back, the job was finished and was great to look at apart from one thing- it was the wrong edging! I had ordered the scalloped edged border because it more or less matched the scalloped edge of the garden fence that I erected last year. The tops of the new edging were almost flat! Contacted the suggested sellers and they sent a reply by return stating that they were not the sellers and that I should redirect the problem to Amazon. I have tried to do that throughout the day without success. Finally, I must say that although the new edging does not match our scalloped-edged fence tops, it is nevertheless a very attractive piece of kit (hence the 5 stars) and I would have no hesitation in recommending it to others.
