It serves a useful purpose in my garden, between the lawn and a gravel area. I wanted to stop gravel getting onto the lawn, ie kicked there by my dog! I hoped I would be able to push the pointed bits into the ground but the soil was compacted and stony so digging was required. The place where I have put it means both sides are visible. The back is not attractive so I decided to clear a section of the gravel next to it and sow wild flower seeds there. So installing it was a bigger job than I expected but on the whole I think it is a useful buy and good value.

Looks great, tapping it into the lawn can make the slats pop out a bit but they tap back in, 4 stars because they used a knotted bit of wood for a stake and it split when tapping it into the ground. Would still buy again.

Description is incorrect, this is not a roll but a rigid low-level fence. I thought it would be a lot easier to install than the log rolls, & it would if I'd wanted a straight line. I read the description very carefully & it is clearly described as a roll.
